Report from the ESC 2023 Congress
The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) convened its annual congress in Amsterdam from August 25th to 28th. A staggering 30,000 global participants, bolstered by 4,500 faculty members and presenters, attended this monumental event themed "Joining Forces to Protect the Heart".

The International Respiratory Coalition (IRC) is an organization established in 2021 amidst the pandemic. Launched by a diverse group of partners, the IRC represents a broad spectrum that includes the professional respiratory community, patients, and industry players.
Report from EURORDIS membership meeting in Stockholm May 25th – May 27th
EURORDIS invited to a membership meeting in Stockholm and promised an event that «will provide an engaging and lively discussion on the road towards a holistic approach to addressing the needs of people living with a rare disease and ensuring their full inclusion in society».
EU Commission meeting
The EU Commission invite stakeholders to a meeting to discussed the revision of the pharmaceutical legislation. The general director of SG SANTE lead the meeting.
EPF’s 20 years anniversary + AGM
European Patients’ Forum turned 20 years in 2023. This was marked with an event in Brussels where members, industry and others were invited. (PHA Europe is a full member.) The next day they ran their Annual General Meeting.
Report from the 4th Baltic PH Conference
I recently attended the 4th Baltic PH conference held in Riga, Latvia. The conference is held every second year, and they alternate the location for the conferences between Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
