World’s 7th PH Symposium
I had the honor of representing PHA Europe at the World Symposium for Pulmonary Hypertension (PH) in Barcelona, held from June 28th until July 1st.
Report from IMPAHCT 2024
Approximately 150 pulmonary hypertension (PH) specialists convened in Barcelona in April 2024 for Ferrer’s 6th edition of the IMPAHCT meeting. Notably, Hall Skaara represented PHA Europe for the second time at the conference, serving as the sole patient advocate present.

The Saudi Association for Pulmonary Hypertension (SAPH) hosted its 17th annual conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from February 15 to 17, 2024. The conference featured an impressive scientific program with sessions led by numerous leading PH specialists from around the world.
APHEC 2023
In November 2023, the PH community once again convened in the beautiful city of Barcelona for the Annual PH European Conference (APHEC). This event brought together not only the PHA Europe staff and board but also two representatives from most of our 37 member associations.

The International Respiratory Coalition (IRC) is an organization established in 2021 amidst the pandemic. Launched by a diverse group of partners, the IRC represents a broad spectrum that includes the professional respiratory community, patients, and industry players.
EPF’s 20 years anniversary + AGM
European Patients’ Forum turned 20 years in 2023. This was marked with an event in Brussels where members, industry and others were invited. (PHA Europe is a full member.) The next day they ran their Annual General Meeting.
