Hello
I’m Vittorio VIVENZIO, 60 years old, separated, with a 29-year-old son, and I’ve been living with pulmonary hypertension since 2001, when my daughter Claudia was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (she died in 2002 after a bout of measles). Then, in 2005, my other son, Federico, aged 2, was diagnosed with the same condition. He passed away in 2007 due to complications from bronchopneumonia.
My son Edoardo is 29 years old and is doing well.
I’m semi-retired and worked in the Italian police force for 41 years.
I’m President of the Association of Pulmonary Hypertension Patients (ODV ets) (www.assoamip.net), which unites several specialist centers in Italy.
We provide all kinds of support to pulmonary hypertension patients. Our motto is TOGETHER WE CAN.
Thank you.
