Education and professional experience
Graduated economist, tax advisor and lawyer. Has more than 15 years’ experience in the banking sector as an attorney at law. Most recently engaged by the Hungarian branch office of a global financial conglomerate as an attorney at law.
Gergely and his wife are supporting members (volunteers) for the Hungarian pulmonary hypertension patient association. He works closely with Eszter Csabuda,
PH patient, Founding Member and President and provides assistance in running the association (e.g. translations, organization of events).
PHA Europe positions
Gergely has been involved as a volunteer in the pulmonary hypertension community since 2010 and was elected as a Member of the Board of PHA Europe for the
mandate 2012-2013. He was re-elected end 2013 for the term 2014-2015, with oversight functions. Since 2015 he is a member of the PHA Europe staff, where he is involved in the day-to-day work of PHA EU, in particular as counsel and in advocacy.

Gergely attended the European Rare Disease Organization’s (EURORDIS) Summer school for patient advocates in 2014.

Gergely has recently been elected as a member of the ePAG (European Patient Advocacy Group) for ERN-LUNG (European Reference Network for lung diseases).
