Born 23.5.1960, married to Peter, live in St. Pölten, Lower Austria, speak German and English.
I’m suffering from Pulmonary Hypertension since 2003.
Education as medical technical assistant for laboratory, 10 years in managerial position.
Starting education as patient expert training at Eupati.
Subsequently, training as a person of trust for people with reduced mobility.
Currently employed by the non-profit organisation PH Austria in the position as Vice President and responsible for patient counselling for members.
The scope of the activity consists of helping patients to cope with their illness and to support them in all phases of life. The position also includes the planning of information days and the support in social matters.
Furthermore I’m a member of the PH Patient Advisory Group of the European Lung Foundation, member of PVRI, member of IRC and co-founder of ARC and member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the Excellence Cluster Cardio-Pulmonary Institute Gießen.
Since 2025 I have been part of the Erdera study as a patient advocate.
